MINERALOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The fulgurite or lightning stone is the result of the impact of a meteorological lightning strike on a sand or sandstone surface, so it is very common to find it in desert areas. The sudden increase in temperature of thousands of degrees centigrade melts the siliceous particles, forming these peculiar and brittle fine tubular root-shaped glasses. These can penetrate up to a meter into the earth's surface. On the inside they are smooth or with small bubbles, while on the outside they are rough and with grains of sand.

Generally we find fulgurite ocher and brown, white, translucent, black or gray.

Deposits: all over the world. They stand out: Morocco, United States, Russia, India and Japan.

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES

The fulgurite is considered a powerful tool that opens the way in shamanic journeys. It is used to raise prayers or to manifest dreams.

The fulgurite helps to release old habits and blocks and to find new ways, with higher and more positive intentions.
