MINERALOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The fuchsite is a variety of Muscovite mica, belonging to the group of silicate-phyllosilicates. The greenish color of fuchsite is due to its high chrome content.

It is characterized by its bright reflections. Its exfoliation is perfect and produces thin and flexible sheets. In Russia, the larger, more transparent sheets of Muscovite mica were used as window glass, hence the name "Moscow glass."

Deposits: Brazil, India, Australia, Pakistan, Austria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, United States, Russia, France, Italy and Japan.

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES

The fuchsite, like most green stones, is considered a healing stone. Promotes health and well-being. It helps to reinforce self-esteem and personal security. It is often recommended to promote healthy relationships and to balance situations of codependency.
