The quartzes called ghost or with soul are quartz that present inclusions in the form of concentric pyramids inside. These inclusions are marks of the growth of the quartz crystal. This happens when gas bubbles or crystals of other minerals accumulate at the tips of the crystal during the different phases of its development. When the marks are white they are usually gas or liquid bubbles. The brown or reddish markings are usually from different iron minerals, and the green markings are usually from chlorite.
Deposits: Brazil and the United States.
The ghost quartz represents the multiplicity of existence. It symbolizes evolution and growth. On a personal level, ghost quartz favors self-knowledge. It is often used in meditation and to connect with the wisdom of the soul.
