Mineralogical characteristics
Zeolite is the name given to a broad group of minerals belonging to hydrated tectosilicate silicates. There are more than fifty natural varieties of zeolites, all characterized by having a very open and porous three-dimensional crystalline structure.
Their structure is formed by silicon and aluminum tetrahedra linked together, creating internal cavities and microscopic channels capable of hosting water molecules and elements such as sodium, calcium or potassium. Thanks to this configuration, zeolites have a great ion exchange and absorption capacity.
Among the best-known varieties are natrolite, heulandite, stilbite, analcime, chabazite, mesolite, okenite and laumontite. Many of them form acicular or fibrous aggregates or very aesthetic crystallizations appreciated by mineral collectors.
Zeolites usually originate in volcanic cavities and hydrothermal environments, where mineral-rich waters react with ashes and volcanic rocks. In addition to their mineralogical interest, they also have industrial and environmental applications thanks to their filtering and absorbent capacity.

Therapeutic properties
Zeolite is traditionally considered a stone associated with energetic cleansing, purification and inner balance. In crystal therapy, it is used to encourage a sense of renewal and help release dense emotional burdens.
Because of its absorption and ion exchange properties, some energetic currents symbolically relate it to processes of detoxification and purification, both physical and emotional. It is also said to help create more harmonious and balanced environments.
Zeolite is often used in meditation and wellness practices to bring mental clarity, stability and a sense of calm. Some traditions also associate it with overcoming negative habits and processes of personal transformation.
These properties belong to the field of esoteric and energetic traditions and do not replace medical advice or professional treatment.
