Mineralogical characteristics
Seraphinite belongs to the group of minerals called chlorites, formed by hydrothermal and metamorphic alterations of aluminum, iron and magnesium silicates. Specifically, it is a variety of clinochlore. The dark green color of seraphinite combines with a silvery shine resulting from mica inclusions.

Therapeutic properties
The green color of seraphinite, typical of most chlorites, gives it harmonizing, neutralizing and cleansing properties, as well as a connection with the heart chakra. It is associated with angelic beings and is said to help with spiritual evolution and self-healing.
