Mineralogical characteristics
Morganite is a pink beryl variety of gem quality. This color is due to the presence of manganese or caesium. Morganites can also be found in yellow or orange colors and usually display chromatic bands.
Morganite usually forms tabular crystals and is found in pegmatites.
Morganite is named after the American banker and collector J.P. Morgan.

Brazil, United States, Italy, Madagascar, Mozambique, Russia, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Therapeutic properties
Morganite is considered a stone of consciousness and love. It is related to the 4th chakra and stimulates healing and opening of the heart. Morganite encourages spiritual progress and helps recognize and attend to the needs of the soul. It enhances loving thoughts and actions, relaxes tension and encourages enjoyment.
On a healing level, it is said to help with heart and lung problems.
