Morganite

Be3Al2Si6O18 Silicates - cyclosilicates

Morganite is a pink beryl variety of gem quality. This color is due to the presence of manganese or caesium. Morganites can also be found in yellow or orange colors and usually display chromatic bands.

Morganite usually forms tabular crystals and is found in pegmatites.

Morganite is named after the American banker and collector J.P. Morgan.

Morganite is considered a stone of consciousness and love. It is related to the 4th chakra and stimulates healing and opening of the heart.
