Green jasper is a microcrystalline variety of quartz (chalcedony), containing other minerals that give it opacity and green color, sometimes speckled or veined with grey and black tones. Jasper is usually found in hydrothermal veins, volcanic rocks and sedimentary rocks.
The name jasper comes from the Greek "iaspis", meaning "spotted stone". It is found in hydrothermal veins, volcanic rocks and sedimentary rocks.

Therapeutic properties
Jaspers are stones recommended for energizing the body and bringing vitality. They are also associated with environmental cleansing, protection and grounding.
Green jasper is associated with the heart chakra. It represents balance and healing.
