Sulfur

S Native elements

Sulfur is the most abundant mineral component on Earth, in the form of sulfides, sulfates and elemental sulfur, after oxygen and silicon.

Sulfur crystals can display up to 56 different habits and can also be found in massive, stalactitic and reniform form. When well crystallized, sulfur forms by sublimation of volcanic gases, embedded in cracks or volcanic fumaroles. Massive sulfur is usually found as thick layers in sedimentary rocks, especially those associated with salt domes.

Sulfur has a characteristic bright yellow to red or yellow-grey color. Its name comes from Latin and means "fire stone".

Sulfur, because of its negative polarity, is a strong absorber of negative energies and emotions. Due to its volcanic origin, it is said to have the quality of healing different types of "eruptions": feelings, skin diseases, infections and fever. It can bring latent psychic abilities to the surface.

Sulfur enhances imagination and creativity. It helps overcome mental blockages and see and soften personality traits that may work against oneself.
