Mineralogical characteristics
Apophyllite is often found associated with stilbite; both are minerals belonging to the subgroup of zeolites. It is characterized by the pearly luster on its surface. Apophyllite crystals are usually prismatic and tabular, in white, beige and grey tones, but there are also green, yellow, colorless, pink and brown crystals. It usually appears in volcanic rocks and cavities, although it can also be found in metamorphic rocks and hydrothermal deposits.

Therapeutic properties
